Privacy Policy
Cyber Desk event registration & management platform · Last updated: 20 Oct 2026
1. Who we are
Cyber Desk is developed and operated by Group Takey. For each event, the Organiser who invited you to register decides how your data is used; Group Takey processes the data on the Organiser's behalf to run registration, passes, check-in and reporting.
2. What we collect
- Registration details: name, company, designation, mobile number, email, city / state / country and any extra questions the Organiser asks (for example interest, gender, date of birth).
- Photo - only if the Organiser asks for it for your badge.
- Pass and attendance records: your pass code, when and where it was scanned (entry, exit, sessions, gates), badge printing, and which stall you represent if you are an exhibitor.
- Technical data: IP address and browser type for security and abuse prevention, and a session cookie when you sign in or submit a form.
3. Why we use it
- To register you, issue and verify your pass, and allow or refuse entry.
- To print your badge, send your pass by email, and contact you about the event.
- To give the Organiser attendance, session and exhibitor reports.
- To keep the platform secure and prevent shared or duplicate passes and fraud.
4. Who can see your data
Only the Organiser's authorised staff (according to their role) and Group Takey's support team, when needed to operate or secure the service. Exhibitors see only the passes of their own stall. We do not sell your data. Organisers may use your data for their own event purposes under their own privacy policy.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: a session cookie that keeps staff signed in and protects forms against misuse (CSRF). We do not use advertising cookies. Scanner staff's browsers may store their gate name locally.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on secured servers. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access, login lock-outs, activity logs and a firewall. No online system is completely risk-free, but we work to protect your information.
7. How long we keep it
Registrations are kept for the period decided by the Organiser (so that the Organiser can see past editions and run next year's event). After that, or on a valid request, data can be deleted or anonymised, except where the law requires us to keep it.
8. Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop receiving event messages. Please contact the Organiser of the event, or write to us at support@grouptakey.com and we will pass the request to the Organiser or act on it ourselves.
9. Children
Events may be attended by minors; registration of a minor should be made by or with the consent of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the latest version is always on this page.
